The TAS Business Unit manages technical and asset support for Air Services Australia’s systems, facilities and communications infrastructure for the Melbourne Airport Compound. The state-of-the-art two storey building provides an open-plan, collaborative working space which is an integral part of AsA operations and is intended to set a benchmark for future organisation growth in the near future.
The building’s design incorporates solar water heating, recycling of rain water for toilet flushing, sub floor air-conditioning delivery and motorised window shades.
Achieving a 5-star Green Star design rating, the environmentally sustainable building is also on track to achieve a 4.5 NABERS energy rating.
